Fulltone drops a catalyst
Mike Fuller is set to launch his latest fuzz pedal – dubbed Catalyst – in early April. According to the Fulltone boss the new stomp sports a tiny distortion generator that is a great fuzz/distortion when the toggle is switched to the ‘Flame’ position. The ‘Spark’ setting turns the pedal into a sweet clean boost and overdrive. The Catalyst also has a two-band EQ that boasts a hi-cut with bass control having the ability to bring in solid mid-range when the pot reaches around three o’clock on its rotation. According to the Fulltone website, the Catalyst will start shipping on 1 April and carry a price tag of $179.
