Fairfield plots Randy’s Revenge!
Guillaume Fairfield of Fairfield Circuitry – maker of the Barbershop overdrive – has uploaded a video demo of his latest creation – Randy’s Revenge ring modulator. According to Guilliaume, the pedal does the clang thing, the bell tones, the pulsations, the deep bass, the needles in your ears, the ‘what’s that strange melody following me’ and the sweet, yet tart. The pedal sports a Sine or Square wave voltage-controlled oscillator with sub audio range for deep trem/vibe effect, a low pass filter and a wet/dry mix for those times when you only need a little bit of that atonal grime. A waiting list for the pedal, which will retail for C$350.00, has started. Peep the video after the jump!
