Rain doesn’t dampen Dallas guitar show
The weather cleared up in time to make Saturday and Sunday great days to be at the 32nd Annual Dallas International Guitar Festival. WTDP? made the drive from our Houston HQ to see what we could see, which on Saturday was former Astro great Craig Biggio, former Steely Dan axeman Jeff ‘Skunk’ Baxter, a ‘fly-by’ in the PRS booth by Austin’s own Eric Johnson… and a bunch of pretty guitars! The festival did seem to suffer a bit from the economic gloom gripping the country… there were several more empty booths than at last year’s show and the Saturday crowd, while good, was manageable.
