NAMM: Pigtronix debuts Philosopher King
David at Pigtronix showcased his latest offering at the NAMM show today, including the Envelope Phaser and brand-new Philosopher King stomp. The P-King is a new combination pedal that takes the best parts of the old Attack Sustain pedal and the Philosopher’s Tone stomp and kicks them into overdrive. A new distortion set-up and controls including hold level, release time, one-shot mode and selectable auto reset make the pedal a compression/sustain monster. Mix in an expression pedal input for additional textures and you’ve got a very versatile tone machine. The P-King will be available a little later this year. Check out the close-up after the jump!
