Effectrode teases new acoustic pre-amp pedal
The fine folks at Effectrode Audiophile Pedals uploaded a teaser image of a new prototype pedal in the works – the Acoustode pre-amplifier. The stomp is specially designed for acoustic instruments fitted with a microphone or piezo pick-up. The company has been collaborating with UK guitarist Gordon Giltrap, who has been keeping the project ‘real’ and doing plenty of audio testing. According to Effectrode, the new prototype is a ‘real beautiful and musical sounding little tube amp.’ No info on production plans or pricing currently, but when we know, you’ll know! Stay tuned!
