The crew at 73 Effects have a new pedal on offer – a boosty, cocked-wah screamer dubbed the Wicked Witch. According to the builder, the Witch is a dirty transistor boost shoved into a vintage Clyde McCoy wah circuit that features a Sabbadius Soul inductor – a Vox halo inductor replica. It creates a solo/lead boost pedal that, according to 73, flat out screams. The boost control adds grit and volume while the Heel-Toe control lets you adjust the wah sweep so you can leave it in one spot. The Range switch gives you three sweep ranges from screechy treble to woofy bass. The Wicked Witch is available through the builder and costs $160 plus shipping.
