NAMM: Blast Cult are not Dapper Dan men

Relative newcomers Blast Cult had a pair of unique pedal offerings on display at NAMM this week, including a delay housed in a hair treatment can. Murray’s Can is a delay/filter that was made using the company’s own proprietary chip mixed into a ‘secret recipe’ circuit to give the stomp a more dramatic tone, according to the company. The pedal also comes with a comb and a tin of real hair grease.

Also from Blast Cult comes the Channel Blaster – a pick-up system designed for slap bass players that has its own pedal-form preamp. The FET-based pre gives off a warmer, vacuum tube tone, according to the company.

  1. how the heck do you get a hold of these guys? I can’t find a website/facebook/twitter or anything. Looks like some sweet stuff

  2. http://blastcult.com/ works for me. Contact info is there.

  3. They’re a newer company. From one of the founders (thee founder, in my opinion) of King Bass.
