You’ve got less than a week to get in on our third signed pedal give away here at WTDP? First it was a Marion Henry Electric Fuzz Bucket signed by Umphrey’s McGee… then a Way Huge Pork Loin signed by Joe Bonamassa. This time around, it’s a Prescription Electronics COB (Clean Octave Blend) signed by Charlie Sexton and Doyle Bramhall II of the Arc Angels! Head over to our Contests page now and check out all of the details on how to enter to win this one-of-a-kind pedal! You can also take advantage of doubling or tripling your chances by following us on Twitter and facebook! All entries must be received no later than 1 August… so hurry!
Hey everyone! Fresh off of our successful give away of a Joe Bonamassa autographed Way Huge Pork Loin pedal, we’re back with another signed stomp! Always looking to out-do ourselves, this time around we’ve got something really special. It’s a Prescription Electronics COB (Clean Octave Blend) signed by Charlie Sexton and Doyle Bramhall II of the Arc Angels! I’d hazard a guess and say that this – given the paint scheme and autographs – is a one-of-a-kind! Head over to our Contests page now and check out all of the details on how to enter to win! You can also take advantage of doubling or tripling your chances by following us on Twitter and facebook!
Austin’s own Arc Angels rocked the Houston House of Blues (HHOB, from now on) Friday night with a steady mix of tunes of their sole album, the still-revelant 1992 self-titled offering, and covers from their favorite songwriters. The band opened the near two-hour set with the stomping ‘Paradise Cafe’. Afer a bit of a jagged start, including a bit of pedal sloppiness, the group started to groove on tracks like ‘Sent By Angels’ and a slowed, slinky version of my favorite Arc Angels tune, ‘Spanish Moon’. Check out a brief gear rundown and eye a few pics from the show after the jump!
