EBS offers up DPhaser stomp

dphaserBass gear specialists EBS are now shipping their new DPhaser pedal to retailers. The DPhaser is the latest addition to the company’s line of Black Label pedals and offers three different modes of cool phaser effects. ‘Short’ is the classic phaser effects recognized from the 70’s, ‘Long’ emphasize the effects a bit more, while ‘Wide’ gives you extrem swarling flanger-like effects. A ‘Hi, Lo and Off’ three-way switch selects the resonance of the effect while the two controls change the width and rate. In addition, there are internal switches for fine tuning the overall tone. The true-bypass pedal also sports two knob controls to dial in Rate and Width of the effect.


EBS showcases new bass distortion stomp

Swedish bass stomp specialists EBS will drop curtain on the EBS MetalDrive distortion pedal at MusikMesse in Frankfurt next week. Based on a customized EBS MultiDrive pedal made for John Moyer of Disturbed, the pedal is created to satisfy those who look for the heaviest distorted bass sounds available. EBS adds that the stomp sounds equally as sweet with a standard six-string! The true bypass pedal works in Standard, Flat and Tubeism mode with controls for Distortion and Output. Pricing is forthcoming. The EBS MetalDrive is expected to be available in September.


EBS goes signature with the great Stanley Clarke

Swedish bass pedal gurus EBS will unveil their first signature pedal in the company’s 20-year history at the upcoming NAMM show. The EBS Stanley Clarke Signature Wah-Wah is a true bypass pedal that works in four different modes: Low-pass, High-pass, Band-pass and Boosted Band-pass. It also features adjustable controls for Bandwidth and Frequency range. The footswitch is flexible and can switch between Wah/Bypass or Wah/Volume. The wah will be officially release at the EBS booth at NAMM. Stanley Clarke will appear for a meet-and-greet at noon on Friday, 16 January.
